3rd edition. This volume consists of three independent, at the same time interconnected in content books (in the form of three chapters). In the first chapter the author states: "In order for Kazakhstan to become an equal member of the world community, first of all, it is necessary to take care of the development of science and education." The second chapter is devoted to the reform of the education system. The author identified the main problems of the educational sphere of the Republic, among which he calls the most important the decline in the prestige of education and the unpreparedness of the education system to train specialists in knowledge-intensive profiles, which leads to the raw materials orientation of the economy. The third chapter is devoted to the development of market relations in the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the stage of an acute economic crisis, the author discusses ways out of it, options for privatization, the formation of SMEs, social aspects of the market economy, prospects for the financial sector, structural reform of the economy and maintaining the national currency. On this path, he foresees another difficult and long transition period.
