The internal factors that determine the robotization of the mechanical engineering complex of the Republic of Belarus are identified and analyzed: digitalization of production and business processes of its enterprises; the state of the technical and technological base; the state and dynamics of labor resources; the evolution of the organizational and institutional structure of the national mechanical engineering complex; the role of the mechanical engineering enterprise in ensuring national security. Digitalization of production and business processes stimulates the robotization of the national mechanical engineering complex, forming a digital infrastructure and environment for the subsequent implementation of robots, while increasing the economic efficiency of robotization due to the fact that the enterprise bears part of the costs of robotization in the process of digital modernization. Increasingly, digitalization is becoming a prerequisite for robotization, for example, when creating digital twins of robotic production, the Internet of robots, etc., which forms an intelligent mixed adaptive network infrastructure of production with new sources of productivity growth.
