This is the second revised and enlarged edition of the monograph “Structure and Evolution of Social Interest” published in 2003. Part 1 of the new edition contains the author’s interpretation of social needs and the theory of common good, as well as a detailed analysis of the qualities of goods and services and a detailed basing for classification. There is also a description of the key patterns of weal evolution in the form of socio-dynamic cycles and quasicycles. A general socio-dynamic model of evolution of goods and services is suggested and its use for making a typology of social needs is demonstrated. Part 2 is dedicated to theoretical and practical problems of formation and realization of public social needs. There is also an analysis of the human capital in the context of reforms of the modern time.
