Based on the analysis of numerous monitoring data and syntax of vegetation of Belarus, a scientifically sound strategy of meadow fodder production is proposed, embodied in the economic typology - the system of grassland divisions of the country with certain measures for their optimization and rational use. There are 11 types and 26 subtypes of lands that correspond to the classes (order) and union of the classification system of J. Brown-Blanche and cover the actual meadows, grassy swamps and wastelands, ferns and abandoned lands, shelves of reservoirs. Criteria for the allocation of economic units were the floristic composition, especially edificatory dominants, and the conditions of development of plant communities.
It is offered to specialists in agriculture, environmental protection and land users, geobotanists and ecologists, teachers of universities and secondary special educational institutions of agricultural profile, as well as environmental and environmental disciplines in other educational institutions.
