The monograph describes the process of formation and development of Soviet arbitration as a tool for resolving economic disputes during the existence of the USSR. The publication gives the course of the origin and improvement of the institution of arbitration commissions as a result of the liberalization of economic relations during the NEP years. The monograph highlights the development of state arbitration during the period of strengthening the administrative and command system. Considerable attention is paid to the transition of the Russian economy to market relations and the beginning of the formation of a legislative framework protecting business entities.
