The tutorial inquires into the issues of emergence of a large seigniory situated in the Southern regions of the Middle Volga Region, the so-called Siberia-Tamara Volga Region in the XVIIth- the beginning of the XVIIIth century. Based on the analysis of the concrete-historical material the edition investigates peculiarities of business and economic- agrarian activities of the large-scale church feudalists in the region, specificity of the composition of the dependent population as well as trends in the development of rent forms and intensification of social tension.
