This year we celebrate 200 years since the birth of one of the most talented people of our region - Arthur Bartels. His name, however, today, does not say anything. Extremely rare specialists in the humanities have heard about him. Meanwhile his figure is multifaceted: Poet. Playwright. Essayist. Publicist. Artist. Composer. Finally artist. The Poem "Deniskovichi" was written during the author's last visit to his native land in 1862. Until this year it was published only once ( "Lowiec", 1878).
