In early 1990s Dostoyevsky Society was founded in Russia. This society integrates the efforts of the vast majority of Russian researchers. Its main aims were to coordinate the research work in Russia, to establish links between Russian and foreign scientists, to make up an edition where the most interesting works on Dostoyevsky will be published. The present almanac is the result of the work.
