This book describes the life of one of the children evacuated to the USSR during the Spanish Civil War in 1936-1939. The author of the book narrates about the fate of numerous children-refugees, expresses his gratitude for the Soviet people. He lived in his second motherland for 54 years and returned to Spain with his Russian family only in 1992.
