Do Po is Pavel Makov's book about the city of the future. Started as a reflection on the futuristic hypothesis that in the coming decades states will lose their defining role, giving way to large cities, the book "Do Po" was an attempt to combine (oppose or reconcile) two different views of the space in which you live.
On the one hand - the master plan of the large city of Po Po, divided into 64 levels of land, none of which is repeated, and on the other - the pages of a pocket notebook, in which Makov for several years sketched plans of real and imaginary cities with free buildings.
In the book, printed in intaglio, the districts of the city and the drawings from the notebook are translated into a vector image, located on different sides of the page and intertwined with common paths. Being at a crossroads, the reader finds himself in a situation of the frontier, which, according to Makov, actually determines the place - the presence between reality and dream. While Makov's personal notebook included only selected pages, the tab with a map of the fictional city of Po Po became an integral part of the author's book of the same name.
