This monograph is devoted to the current problems of biological, legal, ethical aspects of DNA identification and DNA registration of the population. Some important milestones in the research of DNA molecules are described separately and information on genomic organization and types of polymorphism of human DNA is given. Almost all the approaches to DNA identification that are being developed have been considered and, although most in forensic practice are not widely used, they are nevertheless worth mentioning. Some emphasis has been placed on new marker features that have the potential to complement and even replace those currently in common use. Attention has been paid to the formation of individual DNA databases using digitization, which has recently become increasingly important. The DNA registration of the entire population, discussed over the years in various countries, which will undoubtedly happen sooner or later, which will significantly increase the solving of crimes, In addition, it is imperative that the number of cases should be reduced because of the unavoidability of punishments, and that the serial cases should disappear altogether, since the criminal will be apprehended before he has time to commit a new one. In addition, the identification of persons who have lost their lives as a result of natural disasters, man-made disasters and other tragedies will be speedily established; the search for missing persons, identification of bodies of unknown persons and identification of persons will be facilitated, with memory loss and inability to communicate any data (including young children).
