The edition is devoted to the All-Russian Church Council, first since the end of the XVIIth century local council of the Russian Orthodox Church, which opened on August 15 (28), 1917 in the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. Its most important decision was to restore the Patriarchate of the Russian Church, which ended the synodal period in the history of the Russian Church.
