The monograph is devoted to the formation and development of the digital economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries. The theoretical aspects of the digital economy in our country are considered. Based on the analysis of foreign experience, the instruments of state support for the digital economy used abroad have been identified. An effective model of the digital economy based on improving the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the information sector is proposed.
