The collection is composed of works by Bashkir emigrant scholars, the majority of which has never been published before. They throw light on various aspects of history of the Bashkir National-Liberation Movement as well as ethnography and ideological life of the Bashkir people. All of the three authors contributed greatly to the history of Bashkirs and other Turkic peoples of Russia.
