The book presents materials which will acquaint the reader with the history and culture of Germans in the Crimea. Hundreds of German people came to the land of the Crimea by invitation of the Russian Tsar dynasty about 200 years ago. The fate of the Crimean Germans is quite dramatic. Diaspora that had more than 50000 people before 1941 was scattered by will of tyrants all round the Soviet Union. Nowadays the Crimea is home for 2500-3000 Germans.
