The textbook presents the experience of implementing the interuniversity international educational and creative project "Golden belt of friendship: fairy tales, myths and legends of Russia and China", aimed at fostering a tolerant attitude of children and students to the cultures of Russia and China through the study of fairy tales, myths and legends. The result of the implemented project was: an exhibition-competition of drawings; a competition for translating texts into Chinese; a competition for video performances by students with a short story about the content of fairy tales. The texts of fairy tales are provided with a dictionary, tasks of several levels of difficulty, presented in two language.
