Mstislav Ivanovich Nikitin (1912-1986) was a professional entomologist, zoogeographer, participant of numerous expeditions and excursions in Manchuria, one of the first members of the section of young archaeologists, naturalists and ethnographers of the Union of National Youth at the Bureau of Russian Emigrants (BREM) in Harbin, who often spoke to local youth interested in nature, culture and history of China.
