The offered school-book represents a systematization of demographic problems, peculiar of the aboriginal population of Siberia, in the period of its joining Russia, in the XVIIth - XXth centuries. The questions, related to changes in the number of some populations and ethnical groups, are deeply examined. The analysis of reasons for the reduction of the population number explains the existing contradiction between gradual disappearance of the Siberian aborigines and general increase of non-Russian population of Siberia. The published work is based on the large number of different scientific sources and will be useful for specialists in history and ethnography of Siberia.
