The democratic electoral system used at the elections to the representative (legislative) state bodies in many aspects reflects national, historical, cultural and legal peculiarities of the nation’s evolution, based on sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state. The legislators have lots of possibilities to “construct” various models of electoral systems, which are limited only by a national constitution, generally accepted principles and international regulations.
