The action takes place in Arkhangelsk, where members of diplomatic missions left Vologda in the summer of 1918. This is the third book in a trilogy under the general title "The Diplomatic Capital of Russia". The first book, The Collapse of the Diplomatic Consent, was published in 2017 and tells about the stay of the diplomatic missions of the Entente countries in Vologda in 1918. The second book, The Secret Position of Agent Reilly (2018), tells about the stay and activities in Vologda at the same time British agent Sydney Reilly. Aleksander Bykov is Candidate of History, member of Vologda Union of writers’ and local historians.
