The book, based on historical, cartographic and iconographic sources, archeological and architectural-restoration survey, examines the history, architecture, nature of property, design and fortification features of several objects located in Halych on the Dniester. These objects are the fortified settlement, the prince's court, the boyar's yard, the Starostyn castle and the fortified city of Halych of the Magdeburg law era. The penultimate object has the status of an architectural monument of national importance, the latter - almost unknown to the general public due to early destruction.
