The book is the first to bring together under one cover all the works written by Mikhail Prishvin after a three-month journey through Primorsky Krai in the summer and autumn of 1931: the story "Ginseng" and the essays "Sable", "Deer-flower" and "Blue Arctic foxes", as well as his travel diary for that year, published in 2006 in the Pacific almanac "Rubezh" and illustrated with photographs of the writer.
