Philosophy of name is the theme that has been still one of the most insufficiently-studied in the Russian Orthodox church philosophy. In the research by preacher D.Leskin an in-depth inquiry into the works by the classical Russian ecclesiastical thinkers P.Florenskii, S.Bulgakov, V.Ern and A.Losev as well as the present-day Russian ecclesiastics Episcope Illarion (Alfeev), Father-Superior Andronik (Trubachev) and S. Polovinkin is conducted. The focus of attention is placed upon the analysis of the basic problems of the "Athos Distemper" of the 1990s as well as the cults of Imiaslavie and Imiaborchestvo.
