This book is a collection of documents, articles and translations by the author, dedicated to the biography and activities of such a famous historical figure in the Eastern Caucasus as Da'ud-bek al-Mushkuri ad-Dagistani [1680–1735]. In this collection, for the first time, about one hundred new foreign sources are taken into scientific circulation, shedding light on many previously unknown details from the biography of the Sunni imam and commander, as well as on his activities during his time as the ruler of Shirvan and Dagestan.
