Daniel Harms (Yuvachev) (1905 - 1942) is a prominent poet and writer who showed an absurdity of mankind. His life seemed to be full of absurd: shy Don Juan, very polity scandals’ initiator, children’s’ writer who didn’t like children. These contradictions annoyed not only his colleagues but the authority pursuing him. After his arrest and death in tragic affairs his works were prohibited and distributed illegally. Nowadays the Harms’ works are famous not only in Russia but also abroad and his biography is still full of mysteries.
