Vladimir Arenev (real name: Vladimir Puziy) is known mainly as a literary critic. Author of several dozen reviews of fantastic (and not only) works. At one time he published many articles on terrariumistics, in particular, a cycle on keeping domestic amphibians in the terrarium. He actively collaborates with the magazines Reality Fiction, World of Fiction, almost every new issue contains several of his new reviews. Permanent participant of the "Star Bridge" festival. Laureate of the International Ukrainian-German Prize named after Oles Honchar (2001). Finalist of the independent Debut Prize (Russia). In 2004 he was recognized as the best young author of Ukraine at the Eurocon.
