The global crisis of 2008-2009 affected all spheres of economic activity and brought to light serious contradictions of interests of different participants of international economic exchange. Recent sharp fluctuations of currency rates on the global market are viewed as one of the most striking demonstrations of these contradictions and have already been tagged by some experts as «cuггепсу wars». The focus is on the opposition of dollar and euro, as well as attempts of leading developed countries to force China to revaluate its national currency.
