Volyn writer Yosyp Strutsyuk was noted at the international literary competition of novels, plays, screenplays, song lyrics and works for children "Coronation of words-2016". The first collection of poetry, The Declaration, was published in 1965. Member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine since 1970. The works of Joseph Strutyuk were translated into Polish, Belarussian and Russian. He is a Distinguished Artist of Ukraine, a laureate of several international and all-Ukrainian literary awards. In the song genre he collaborated with such well-known composers as Anatoly Kos-Anatolsky, Alexander Bilash, Anatoly Pashkevich, Alexander Nekrasov, Victor Lifanchuk, Petro Svist, Victor Tymozhynsky, Vladimir Lych, Alexander Sinyutin and others. He collected and edited several hundreds of folk and Podlaski folk songs.
