"Folio" publishing house introduces readers to the epistolary legacy of Ivan Bahrianyi (1906-1963) - a Ukrainian writer, publicist, political figure who was repressed by the Soviet authorities in the 1930s and emigrated to Germany in 1945. Only in independent Ukraine it became possible to objectively cover the figure of Ivan Bahrianyi and publish his works.
This volume includes more than 150 letters of I. Bahrianyi to well-known figures of the Ukrainian diaspora, activists of the democratic movement, comrades in the URDP, as well as some of his addressees. They make it possible to expand the concept of the artist and politician, supplementing official historical sources.
