"Folio" publishing house introduces readers to the epistolary legacy of Ivan Bahrianyi (1906-1963) - a Ukrainian writer, publicist, political figure who was repressed by the Soviet authorities in the 1930s and emigrated to Germany in 1945. Only in independent Ukraine it became possible to objectively cover the figure of Ivan Bahrianyi and publish his works. About 200 letters of I. Bahrianyi and some of his addressees have been submitted to this volume. Correspondence was part of the work of the artist and politician, his experiences, concerns, his life. All texts are presented with autographs, uncut. Individual letters are accompanied by notes.
