Even the technique of knitting corn-husk footwear is one of the less known since maize has only been grown in the southern parts of Slovakia in the past, and only the poorest people wore such shoes in the past. Today, corn-husk shoes are a good alternative to healthy footwear, especially in the summer. The book allows the reader to learn the technique of knitting corn-husk shoes: sandals and flip-flops.
