This work is one of the most important sources in the history of Muslim world in pre-Mongolian period and during the Mongolian invasion, which contains valuable data on the history of the Samanids, Ghaznavids, Qarakhanids, Saljuqs, Ghurids, Khwarizmshahs, and Khulaguids. This is the first translation from Arabic into Russian, done by Shamsiddin Kamoliddin, the author’s follower.
