Mongolians have experienced various forms of state-religion relations, and in 1992, when the new democratic Constitution was approved, the basic principle of state-religion relations was defined as "the state should respect its religion, and religion should respect the state." In addition, the Law on State-Church Relations was approved in 1993, as stipulated in the Constitution to regulate state-religious relations through a special law. Since the relationship between the state and religion is involved in many types of social relations, especially social and human sciences have studied it with their own methods, and the science of religion occupies a dominant position.
