The manual is prepared on the basis of a comprehensive comparative legal study of foreign and domestic experience of constitutionalism, functioning of the institutions of constitutional law. The modern tendencies of constitutionalism, in particular the nature, validity and legal protection of the constitution, are taken into account. The formation and understanding of constitutional values and principles, human dignity, freedom and private autonomy, equality, the rule of law, democracy and modern concepts of the state are revealed. Taking into account the evolution of modern constitutional systems, the basic models of organization of public power and modern tendencies of the development of constitutionalism are highlighted.
