The book describes the history of the creation of the MSK-L collection from 1934 to 2021. It contains information on 1735 species of lichens and closely related fungi from 411 genera collected in 60 countries. Labels of some specimens, a list of taxa, an analysis of herbarium collections by country and individual administrative units are given. The publication will contribute to increasing the efficiency of further floristic and taxonomic research in different regions of the world, including Belarus.
