The first book of the five-volume collected works of the philologist and local historian Fil Sergey Genrikovich is devoted to the biographies of Jews from Galicia and Siberia in Austria-Hungary, Tsarist Russia, pre-war and post-war Poland, the USSR and the Russian Federation at the end of the 19th-20th centuries. The documentary story is based on archival and literary sources, memoirs of the author and his relatives, materials from his collections of antiquities and collections of photographs of relatives.
