The offered monograph published for the first time is dedicated to the history of northern cloisters and monastic colonization of seaboard in the XVI-XVIIth centuries. Based on archival documents the author studies and researches evolution of agrarian regime and land ownership in the cloistral village, and characters some categories of the peasants and their duties. Correlation of state, possessory and mundane duties and their part in peasant budget, process of dispossession of land of peasants and their enslaving are described in the book.
