The first volume of the catalogue contains a full scientific description of civil printed books of 1725-1800 from the collection of the Central Scientific Library named after Ya. Kolas of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, arranged in alphabetical order (letters A-Z). The publications were published in the leading printing houses of Russia in the 18th century - the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences and Moscow University, private printing houses, etc. The catalogue presents scientific, educational, fiction, legal literature, children's books, and a significant number of translated publications. A considerable part is also made up of the works of scientists and travelers - D.S. Anichkov, S.G. Gmelin, V.F. Zuev, etc. In addition to the bibliographic description, the catalogue contains information about the bindings, design and history of the books.
