The first volume of the catalogue contains a full scientific description of civil printed books of 1725-1800 from the collection of the Central Scientific Library named after Ya. Kolas of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, arranged in alphabetical order (letters A-Z). The publications were published in the leading printing houses of Russia in the 18th century - the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences and Moscow University, private printing houses, etc. The catalogue presents scientific, educational, fiction, legal literature, children's books, and a significant number of translated publications. A considerable part is also made up of the works of scientists and travelers - D.S. Anichkov, S.G. Gmelin, V.F. Zuev, etc. In addition to the bibliographic description, the catalogue contains information about the bindings, design and history of the books. Addressed to library and museum workers, historians, bibliologists, as well as anyone interested in book culture.
