For 40 years the hospital staff has been providing emergency assistance not only to the residents of Minsk, but also to the whole republic. The emergency hospital received the first patient on December 1, 1978. Today it is the country's leading emergency care agency. It employs 1,700 people. Every year more than 80 thousand patients come to the hospital, 50% of them are examined at the stage of the emergency department with emergency medical care, 50% are hospitalized for inpatient treatment.
