The book is dedicated to Ukrainian early modern "high" religious culture. On the basis of the church calendar (sobornik), it was analyzed how much the ecclesial identity of the Ukrainian Orthodox and Union hierarchies differed or coincided, as well as how imperial synodal unification and standardization was completed in the Kyiv Orthodox Metropolis at the end of the 18th century.
