“Choking on the obsession with life” is the second journalistic book of the Grodno poet and journalist Yuri Gumeniuk (1969 - 2013). If the previous book “The Land of Unfulfilled Dreams” contains mainly essays and essays, the new book combines mainly small journalistic forms, primarily from the independent newspaper Pogonya, which was published in Grodno in the 1990s and 00s. These materials clearly show that turbulent time, and literary and artistic life of Belarus and of the author himself.
