Not the old doors, painted dozens of times, some forever locked over heavy secrets, not the abandoned houses, ruins, sublime testimonies of the times before the exile, desired or imposed! Not even your sidewalks, full of potholes, which are repaired every time I return to visit! And not even the heaps of snow at the foot of the trees after your Homeric winter storms!
