In almost all the stories in the collection “Chiamaya’s Blood”, the plot revolves around crime, although the angle is always changing: the author tries to show us the story through the eyes of the perpetrator, the victim, their mothers, the victim’s child, and even the prison interpreter. The narrative is polyphonic, and the gallery of characters that is depicted before us covers the range of different attitudes of different layers of society. Most importantly, these stories touch on the most painful issues of modernity.
