The book "Chernyakov" is a study of history, including the spiritual and cultural and educational development of a small region of our country on the border of the ancient Kobrin principality and the Grand Ducal Zditov parish. The dominant in this narrative is the Chernyakov St. Nicholas Church, which three centuries ago originated on this border and still serves the district, which it united into a parish.
The villages described on foot: Peshki, Borki, Mikhalki, Koshelevo, Gorek, Bolshie and Malye Leskovichi, Penki, Sudilovichi, Stavki, Batareya, Yastrebel, Olesets, as well as Chernyakov, in fact, surprised with their ancient and meaningful history. Much attention in the book is paid to the people who inhabited this extraordinary land: the Chernyakov gentry and landowners, the story of which was not only fascinating, but even intriguing.
For the first time it is told about all Chernyakov's fathers. Special attention is paid to two dynasties of Chernyakov clergy - Skabalanovich and Sobotkovsky. Also for the first time the full text of the miraculously preserved "Chronicle of the Chernyakov St. Nicholas Church" and a large number of archival documents are published.
