Yuri Pavlovich Vinnichuk is a Ukrainian writer, journalist, and translator. He writes prose, poetry, translates and compiles literary anthologies, is the editor-in-chief of the Pyramida publishing house, vice-president of the Association of Ukrainian Writers. The book "God knows what. The Lost Soul" is a unique anthology dedicated to the popular character of Ukrainian mythology - the devil. These included works by Ioanikiy Galyatovsky, Levko Borovikovsky, Oleksa Storozhenko, Panteleimon Kulish, Anna Barvinok, Yuri Vinnichuk and many others. Many works have been translated from Old Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and Latin.
