Presented are the holders of the Order of Alexander Nevsky, the only Russian order that existed in different periods of Russian history: before the revolution of 1917, in Soviet times and available in the modern Russian Federation. The article provides information about the state and military service of the Knights of the Order of Alexander Nevsky in the 18th-19th centuries, as well as about the Knights of the Battle Order of Alexander Nevsky, who were awarded both orders and the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for their exploits in battles in East Prussia in 1944 and 1945.
