The book contains the materials of six criminal cases (one of them collective), within the framework of which members of the Moscow Collegium of Defenders were repressed in the 1930s. The introductory article provides an overview of the history of the Moscow law firm in the post-revolutionary years and provides data on the persecution of more than 400 Moscow lawyers, including the large-scale case of a "counter-revolutionary anti-Soviet organization in the Moscow Collegium of Defenders" in 1938-1939, according to which about 70 people were sentenced to death. Previously unpublished photographs are presented, as well as pages of the criminal case.
