This is a collection of documents, mostly orders, letters, and directives—many of which are being published for the first time. The personal and official correspondence was researched by Nikolai Korepanov, a historian and local historian at the Yekaterinburg History Museum. It took nearly 40 years to transcribe and adapt the materials.
