The action in "Cannibalida" begins in the 90s of the twentieth century, during the civil war. "This is not a book about war, this is a book about people who escaped from war," the author tells us. Indeed, you will not find here the stories of battles, positional battles and soldiers buried in trenches. This book is not about heroes either. Every character is so morally degenerate that it's hard to love them. It's strange, but hate is outweighed by compassion.
